Standard-LASIK Standard-LASIK

Treatment for refractive errors of up to -5 to + 3 dpt.

Femtosecond laser–assisted corneal flap preparation ("bladeless" or "all-laser" LASIK). Individual, personalised wavefront treatment (aberrometer/wavefront technology) with iris recognition.

Precise treatment of severe astigmatism using a dynamic rotational eye-tracking system (Advanced Control Eyetracking ACE). Throughout the procedure, the astigmatic axis is checked 240x/second and adjusted, if necessary. This allows for a previously unheard of precision.

Femto-LASIK combines the proven excimer laser technology with the new femtosecond laser technology: Instead of the mechanical microkeratome (a tiny metal blade) a further laser is used to create the corneal flap. The femtosecond laser creates very thin corneal flaps of precise dimensions, making LASIK surgery possible even with severe near- and farsightedness and very thin corneas. IntraLase femtosecond laser was first approved by the FDA in the USA in 2001. Since then over 500,000 patients have been treated with this "bladeless" LASIK procedure.

lasik germany® only uses the latest state-of-the art 120 kHz IntraLase femtosecond laser, which reduces the time to create flaps to a minimum.
